Just Me!
Kevin, also known as Vib, founded simplicity.erpz.net in early 2004. It started out as a site featuring the satirical ‘Interesting Stuff’. It is targetted at a particular student not well-liked by many of his friends. The site injected dose of humour into many boring lives. It closed down later when Vib matured enough to realise the childish-ness of the site. Later, the blog at simplicity started and it’s named ‘Propagator’ because it was originally slated to be a rather ‘political blog’. Through the years it become less political and started addressing socio-economic issues as well as little snippets of Vib’s life.
Arts and Literature (used to/sort of) dominates Vib’s life, and provide an interesting escape from reality. Photography is another activity Vib involves himself in – though he usually submits photos only for exhibitions that are of no importance for fear his ideas may offend the mainstream public. Vib also does some freelance graphic design, usually for non-commercial purposes. Vib have also created animations with a couple of friends for school-based projects.
In writing, Vib deals mainly with everyday matters in life and small stories that offers good lessons. Other articles would cover current affair matters that would affect lives of people around Vib. Being positive, Vib rarely rants but choose to approach such issues with dry wit and satire. Vib is critical of any institution that lacks freedom, rules that restricts freedom mindlessly and poor thinking habits of the general masses.
Vib works on a MacBook that runs on Intel Processor and has 1 GB RAM.
At present, Vib is working as an office ad-hoc duties warrior, as well as working on mini projects to improve his own life and also on an academic blog at ‘ERPZ‘.
Vib’s Creed
Never hesitate to show contempt for procrastinators, slackers, and poorly motivated individuals.
Never be overwhelmed by gloom and doom. Distant from those who are.
Be motivated by the virtues of work and life and not deterred by the fear of punishment.
Be lazy but work hard to slack later. Work harder so as to slack even more.
Courage is not having no fears. Courage is having fears but doing it anyways. Practice courage.
Goodness is the enemy of Greatness. Never be satisfied with just being good.
