Simply Vib’s Babbling - Gotta Shorten It!

I’ve been writing so much lately, on ERPZ and some other tiny assignments that I am starting to consider stopping writing for maybe a month or two. I’m suffering from this problem of trying to keep up with writing through reading short articles on Fortune, The Economist and somewhat longer ones at The New Yorker, instead of keeping up with reading my traditional staples on Economics and Game Theory like ‘Thinking Strategically‘ and ‘Art of Strategy‘ that I bought a month ago. I am busy hunting for ‘Economic Naturalist‘ in the library but failed to lay my hands on it. The rest of the books piling up without me reading includes ‘Team of Rivals‘, ‘The Real Price of Everything‘ (which is really intensive and would probably require a couple of dedicated weekends) as well as ‘Age of Turbulence‘. I’m trying to finish Microtrends and Wikinonomics but I can’t seem to pick up from where I left off, largely because I found both books extremely boring and really difficult to carry on.

Nevertheless, I’m still at the considering stage. If I really do take a month break I must plan my reading carefully lest I lose interest and end up slacking – no writing and no reading. That would be a great loss, for myself in particular.
